The area where we work is a squatter camp (Informal Settlement). Most of the houses are of Corrugated iron. Many of the people in the community are unemployed and very poor. The kids face hunger, abuse and neglect on a daily basis. The area consists of about 2500 stands with about 12000 people living there.
